Our Story

Hi, my name is Armando Ledet and Cielo Coffee Roasters is a dream come true for me! I found a passion for coffee 8 years ago as a barista in college. Almost immediately, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in coffee. I loved being in a café, serving, learning, and educating others about the dopeness of specialty coffee. Most of all, I appreciated the connections made with coffee. There's nothing like a great cup with amazing company.

Fast forward a few years of learning from some amazing people in and outside of the coffee world and Cielo has become a reality. Hecho con amor en Austin, Tejas! Thank you for the support!

At Cielo Coffee Roasters, our mission is to craft exceptional coffee that inspires connection, celebrates resilience, and honors the journey from seed to cup. Rooted in Afro-Latino heritage, we bring a deep appreciation for the rich cultures and traditions that shape the world of coffee.

We are committed to sourcing beans from sustainable farms, roasting to bring out the best in each coffee, and sharing their unique stories with coffee lovers everywhere. Guided by our cultural values of community and care, we strive to uplift the farmers, families, and communities behind every bean, while prioritizing ethical sourcing and environmental stewardship.
